Emily Buddenhagen - "Dr. Bud" went to University of Arkansas for her undergraduate degree and then returned to her home state of Oklahoma to attend veterinary school at Oklahoma State University. She graduated in 2013 and spent the first six years of her career in Washington state. In 2019, Dr. Bud and her family moved to North Carolina where they gladly call home. In her free time, Dr. Bud, her husband and their son enjoy spending time outside playing sports, going to area lakes to fish and swim, and going to the beach as much as possible during the summer.

Dr. Bud and her family have thee dogs (Tonks, Tow Truck and Flitwick), two cats (Minerva and Peeves), and a flock of backyard chickens.
