Dustin Mathews, MBA - Practice Manager
Dustin Mathews, MBA, joined Longleaf Animal Hospital as Practice Manager, where he supports the doctors and staff by overseeing daily operations and helping ensure a smooth, organized experience for clients and patients alike. He works closely with the team to keep the practice running efficiently while maintaining the high standard of care Longleaf is known for.
Dustin values clear communication, strong teamwork, and thoughtful processes that allow veterinary professionals to focus on patient care. He is committed to fostering a positive, respectful workplace and supporting Longleaf’s continued growth within the Southern Pines community.
Prior to his work in healthcare operations, Dustin served 11 years in the U.S. Navy, where he developed a strong foundation in leadership, accountability, and working effectively in high-responsibility environments.
Outside of work, Dustin enjoys scuba diving and teaching as a PADI instructor, as well as spending time with family and staying active.
