Erin Barney White - “Dr. Barney” earned her veterinary degree from the University of Florida in 2008.  Before this, she studied to earn her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Cabrini College and then her Master of Science in Marine Biology from UNC-Wilmington.

Dr. Barney grew up in Dover, PA, very close to Hershey, PA.  After earning her M.S. in Wilmington, NC, she fell in love with North Carolina and decided to make it her home. Upon earning her DVM in Florida, she moved back to North Carolina and practiced small animal medicine as an associate in eastern North Carolina.  She is very excited to now call Moore County her home, and is impressed by its beauty, culture, and friendly people.

Dr. Barney has two young children, Cecelia and Clara.  Also a part of their family is her beloved dogs Mendel, Ruffles, and Dunkin.
